Travel to the UK – All travel restrictions to end on Friday Education Beyond Borders

VERBALISTS EDUCATION news – We keep you informed on your education journey!

From 4.00 am on Friday 18 March, there will no longer be a distinction between those who travel to the UK fully vaccinated to those travelling otherwise.

16-MAR-2022 | The UK government has announced that the remaining travel rules will finish. From Friday 18th March there will be no need to complete a Passenger Locator Form and unvaccinated travelers will not have to take tests.

This announcement gives everyone, including those that are not fully vaccinated, complete freedom to travel to the UK without any burdensome forms or testing requirements and signals a return to normality for holidays and travel. The changes mean that language and study abroad students can now travel just like in the good old days.

Face coverings are no longer mandatory anywhere in the UK. They’re not required on public transport, and London’s Heathrow Airport will remove its face covering mandate from today.

English shops, museums, theme parks, bars, pubs, hotels, theaters and nightclubs are also open without any restrictions.
