Verbalists Education at the most important North American event for education professionals

May 13-16, 2022 – ICEF Toronto, the largest North American event for international education professionals

19–MAY–2022 | There was a great deal of excitement leading up to ICEF Toronto, with many in the education industry looking forward to catching up with friends and colleagues in person after such a long period apart. And this year’s ICEF Toronto event certainly did not disappoint. A total of 414 educators representing 248 institutions from Canada and the US joined the event.

In addition to the one-to-one meetings with their long-term Canadian partners – Sheridan College, Niagara College, ILAC College, Global University Systems, and DSBN high schools, to mention a few, PRODIREKT has forged some very important new partnerships, most notably with George Brown College. “Our informal networking with the senior management of our main US and Canadian partner schools and colleges are an important part of our success as a global academic advisor and educator. At education workshops and events you don’t just meet valuable business partners, you also make great friends,” said Dejan Trpkovic, PRODIREKT’s Managing Director and Founder of the Verbalists Education & Language Network.

Dejan Trpkovic continued: “Employability has become a key concept in higher education. Increasing number of our prospective students are prioritizing programs that offer skills training, and Canada is the world’s leader in that respect. During the past ten years we have partnered with many high quality colleges in Canada that focus on employability. The ICEF workshops in Vancouver and Toronto have helped us expand that network.”  

PRODIREKT representatives also attended valuable seminars and expert panels, relating to trends in the education and student recruitment industry. In Toronto, ICEF live-streamed some of the presentations for the first time, and enabled participants attending both in-person and virtually to take part in discussions.

Agencies who have received ICEF Agency Status are evaluated every two years to ensure ongoing compliance with ICEF’s standards. PRODIREKT and the Verbalists Language Network passed ICEF’s strict screening process and were awarded ICEF Agent Status in 2011, which is an indicator of their quality and professionalism.
