Embark on a language-filled adventure at Munich Adventure, a German summer camp designed for children aged 12-17. Learning a new language becomes a thrilling journey when combined with exciting activities, creating an immersive language experience.

Operated by the esteemed German Language School (GLS), Munich Adventure provides a secure environment. Our internationally accredited language network, Verbalists Education, ensures that the enrollment process is flexible and easy for you, allowing cancellation or postponement without charges up to four weeks before the program begins.
School
GLS, a prominent language school, brings decades of expertise to the program and holds accreditations from Berlin’s Senate, the Swedish Ministry of Education, and esteemed international associations such as ALTO, EAQUALS, and IALC.
This recognition is further reinforced by the trust it has gained from more than 40 years of increasingly satisfied students from Germany and abroad. That’s why we at Verbalists Education take pride in having a partnership with this best language school in Germany.

The camp is situated 50 km south of Munich, right next to one of the most pristine lakes in the German Alps, Lake Spitzingsee. The view is breathtaking; looking out of the window, you’ll be treated to scenes of either the lake or the mountains.
For this program, GLS utilizes the beautifully restored hotel, Haus Bergsee, featuring three floors and numerous wooden balconies. The hotel houses seven spacious classrooms, modernly equipped for state-of-the-art language instruction.
Program
On the first day of the camp, participants take an entrance test, based on which they are placed in international groups of up to 12 students. There are groups for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels, with no groups designated for absolute beginners.
During the 20 hours per week in the morning, language learning occurs with experienced teachers through communication on topics tailored to the age group of participants (12-17 years). This serves as an excellent warm-up for afternoon activities and language practice in real-life situations.
Munich Adventure Experience
Explore Munich’s castles, amusement parks, and indulge in local cuisine. The program emphasizes linguistic development, courage-building, and cultivating an adventurous spirit.
Located in the scenic Bavarian Alps, participants have the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities like mountain biking, hill conquering, and lake swimming – all conducted in German.
Additionally, the proximity to Munich offers numerous opportunities for excursions and visits to landmarks of the Bavarian capital, such as the Olympiastadium, Schloss Nymphenburg, and Hofbräuhaus.

Not included in the price:
Registration fees (€50), airfare and taxes, airport transfers (€110 each way, applicable for arrivals/departures on Sundays between 8:00 and 22:00).
The Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service: For children aged up to 12 years, most airlines require the mandatory Unaccompanied Minor Service, while children aged 13 and 14 can travel alone or have an escort during their stay at the airport (according to parental preference). This service differs from airport transfers (transport between the airport and accommodation) and involves airport staff and GLS school representatives taking responsibility for your child at the airport. Airlines usually charge from €45 to €50 per flight, and GLS school charges €100, so you should budget about €190 for UM service if your child is under 13 years old at the time of departure.
