Summer French Language Camp in Nice, the queen of the French Riviera (12-17 years). This program has everything one could wish for!
The language network Verbalists is known for making language learning easy through entertaining and engaging programs that leave the youngest learners breathless – both because of what they see and learn and because of the action and fun that awaits them every year. It is led by experts who have completed training as school inspectors in the organization of the European Association for Quality Language Schools (EAQUALS) and who have more than 20 years of experience in creating and organizing educational programs.
The colleges we collaborate with have passed our strict selection process, and the same goes for Azurlingua School, which has been delivering this program and which the language network has represented for over fifteen years.
In the following description of the summer French language camp in Nice, we present a photo album and video clips that we have prepared to make it easier for you to get to know this popular program for young people.
French Language Camp in Nice
Nice
Nice rightfully carries the title of the beauty of the French Riviera. The colors here are brighter, the scents stronger, and the memories unforgettable…

Did you know that tourists used to come to Nice only in winter a hundred years ago because it was too hot in the summer? Nice became a true resort only when Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, and others began to visit.
In this city, you can see small, narrow streets like in Italy, but also wide boulevards like in Paris. A stroll through the city will make us feel, if only for a moment, part of the world jet set: from super-luxurious hotels through the old city center with numerous boutiques, cafes, and restaurants, all the way to the port where European aristocracy and Hollywood stars have anchored their yachts.
The famous Promenade des Anglais winds along the Bay of Angels. It is almost 5km long and is home to the most elite hotels and luxury villas.
Nice is even more attractive to young people at night when, under numerous neon lights, the city comes alive with a new enchantment.
School
Azurlingua, a renowned French language school situated in the heart of Nice, stands as a beacon of language education on the French Riviera.
Bringing over 30 years of expertise to the forefront, Azurlingua has established itself as a premier institution for French courses in France. The school’s commitment to excellence is underscored by its FLE label, a testament to the exceptional experience and quality of teaching it provides, a distinction held since 2007.

Azurlingua extends its language programs to a diverse range of students, both adult learners and juniors, who travel from all corners of the globe to partake in enriching language stays. Annually, the school plays host to more than 4,000 students, drawn by the allure of the French courses and the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exceptional climate of the Côte d’Azur as they pursue their language training.
During the summer months, classes for teenagers are held in classrooms within the campus of the “Eucalyptus” school.
Program

You can choose the standard course of general French language in groups of up to 15 students, with a total of 20 hours per week. If you want faster progress and are willing to invest more effort and energy, we recommend the intensive French language course of 26 hours per week. These intensive classes are held on two afternoons each week in small groups of no more than 10 students.
Course Benefits
Acquire a solid foundation in written and oral comprehension of French, allowing you to express yourself with ease in various everyday situations. Understand the essential notions of grammar, vocabulary, and conjugation in French. Learn to integrate into a conversation in French effortlessly, without apprehension. Prepare for integration into a school or university. Gain knowledge of the basics of French culture and way of life. Engage in role-playing games that provide an enjoyable context for speaking French while fostering teamwork.

Activities & Excursions
As part of the course, the school organizes activities every afternoon and evening – trips to the beach, excursions, visits to numerous museums, or simply shopping. The aim of these activities is not only entertainment but also an opportunity to test French language knowledge through socializing.
Highlights:
- Cultural and sporting activities every day organized in French.
- One-day excursion every week on Saturday (Monaco, Cannes, St Tropez…).
- Half-day excursion each week (Visit of Old Nice, Beaulieu, Villefranche/mer, Eze, Grasse…).
