Our group at Valencia’s unique Spanish language school has created unforgettable memories and friendships

Verbalists at Spanish language school - Espanole IH Valencia

Congratulations to our students on successfully completing the Winter Spanish Language School! Time in Valencia flew by, and we returned home with wonderful memories. Here’s how some of our students experienced this linguistic journey.

15-JAN-2024 | Our Spanish #Verbalists  kicked off this year’s language travel season with a bang! The group of ten students, who were accompanied on their journey by our manager Sanja, explored Valencia in January, while improving language skills at the leading Spanish language school in Spain – Españolé IH Valencia.

Upon their arrival in Valencia, they were delighted to be welcomed by the sun 🌞 and our wonderful friends and long-term partners.

The first exploration stop was, of course, the City of Arts and Sciences, a breathtaking architectural masterpiece crafted by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. The moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the Hemispheric, a mesmerizing structure resembling a giant eye. Powered by state-of-the-art technology, it’s a must-visit destination for science and movie enthusiasts.

Near the Hemispheric, the Science Museum awaited with its engaging and interactive exhibits. Cutting-edge experiments and astonishing demonstrations ignited our curiosity and sparked our passion for learning.

Completing this extraordinary ensemble was the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, a true architectural gem. Within its walls, the opera house and performing arts center came together, setting the stage for breathtaking performances and cultural exhibitions. The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia is a harmonious blend of art, science, and entertainment, and we were absolutely amazed by it. We immediately agreed that we have to visit it again soon. 🤩👏 Take a look at what our students had to say about this sightseeing adventure:

Another exciting day was our visit to the charming town of Xativa, rich in historical tales and prominent architecture spanning various epochs, from Roman and Moorish periods to more recent Christian eras. Known as the cradle of distinguished historical figures, including the renowned Borgia family, who boasted the illustrious painter Jose Ribera and two family members who ascended to the papacy during the 15th century.

Our visit to Xativa included the exploration of its fortress, divided into two parts: the Small Castle, founded on the remnants of Iberian and Roman remains, and the Grand Castle, constructed after the medieval period. Additionally, we immersed ourselves in the Museum of Fine Arts, home to one of the most significant public art collections in the Valencian Community.

This experience is captured in our video, showcasing the beauty and cultural richness of Xativa and its castle. ❤️💪
