Brunel University London, named after the Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, is situated in Uxbridge, West London, offering an ideal campus-based experience. Perfect for young learners, it provides proximity to central London with direct access while ensuring a secure living environment.

Program
Brunel University is an excellent choice for students seeking a London experience, featuring a superb excursion program. The residential English courses are carefully crafted, emphasizing safety, English language skills, and fun for our young learners. Students have the opportunity for in-classroom learning, complemented by an engaging activities and excursions program.
Language Course
Ardmore courses adopt the communicative approach to learning English. Upon arrival, students undergo a placement test to determine the appropriate class for their level. With six levels of classes and corresponding workbooks ranging from pre-beginner to proficiency, class sizes are kept limited to 18 students.
The program allows students to seamlessly combine English learning with visits to London’s most famous attractions.
Excursions & Activities
Following classes, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of leisure and entertainment activities such as football, tennis, basketball, dance, and visits to creative studios and workshops.
The extra-curricular program offers students a diverse range of activities, including daily and evening group games, competitions, quizzes, parties, and film screenings. The excursion program is equally captivating, with 2 half-day excursions planned each week in the London area and 2 full-day excursions to destinations like London, Oxford, and Windsor. Examples of full-day excursions include a trip to London, an inspection of Windsor Castle and its surroundings, and a walk through Oxford.
The intensive excursion program provides students with the opportunity to explore London’s iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and the Houses of Parliament, during the London Walking Tour.
Student Welfare & Safety
Ardmore stands out in education by exclusively focusing on young learners. Unlike others, they don’t treat young learners as just another aspect of their business. Courses are designed with a focus on the well-being, teaching methods, and activities that best suit juniors.
Verbalists are acknowledged for making language learning enjoyable and engaging, especially for the youngest learners. The programs are captivating with both educational content and the promise of excitement and fun each year. However, prioritizing safety and support, especially for minors studying abroad, remains crucial. Depending on the program type and enrollment, specific groups may have an experienced Verbalists group leader for additional care and supervision during their stay abroad.
Accommodation
The halls of residence, refectory, classrooms, and sports facilities are conveniently located within a short walking distance from each other, with proximity between accommodation, classrooms, and the dining hall being a 5-10 minute walk. On-campus accommodation consists of well-appointed single rooms with private bathroom facilities.
Full Board Residential Accommodation:
- Residential setup featuring single en-suite rooms furnished to a high standard
- On-site coin-operated laundry facilities
- Comprehensive sports facilities, including two large sports halls, sports fields, and tennis courts
- WiFi availability on-site
Laundry facilities operate with a card system, with a cost of £3.50 for washing and £2.20 for drying.
Security is provided 24 hours a day, ensuring a safe environment for residents.
Program Dates & Prices
The program is tailored for young learners aged 11-18 and is conducted both individually and with a group leader.
⚠️ The price listed in the table applies to individual bookings/travel. For group bookings with a group leader, a separate price will be provided once we receive a confirmed booking request.
Arrivals and departures from accommodation are on Sundays.
The summer school commences on June 28 and concludes on September 6, with a minimum stay requirement of 2 weeks.
The prices displayed in the table apply to individual bookings. Prices for programs that involve additional care and assistance from our group leader (group bookings) are quoted separately and include a group leader service fee.
⚠️ It’s essential to highlight that all partner schools for young learner summer programs already offer 24-hour supervision and care. While the presence of a Verbalists group leader can enhance the overall experience, it is not mandatory, given the existing comprehensive supervision provided by our partner schools.

The cost of an airline ticket is not included in the price. Airline tickets are to be purchased after the college confirms the enrollment of students and issues visa documents if required.

Registration fee £50, costs of obtaining a UK visa (if required), payable directly to the British embassy, airfare and associated airport taxes, transfers, and travel insurance.
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE for the summer school with a group leader: The participant purchases an airline ticket through the travel agency engaged by the company PRODIREKT. In that case, the travel costs, in addition to the airfare, include the expenses of organized group travel and round-trip airport transfers. The price of the airline ticket that the participant pays largely depends on when the participant made the purchase, so we recommend early enrollment in the program.
