Liverpool FC Camps are part of the LFC International Academy, renowned for its professional approach to youth development. The camp curriculum mirrors the same philosophy and training principles used at Liverpool FC Academy, focusing on holistic development through technical, tactical, physical, and mental training. Players not only enhance their skills but also gain a deep understanding of what it means to play “The Liverpool Way,” which emphasizes teamwork, respect, and a passion for the game.

The camps are supported by two dedicated teams: the coaching team and the welfare team, which includes camp management staff.

While all staff play a role in ensuring players have a positive experience, the welfare team is specifically focused on the physical and emotional wellbeing of every child. They provide 24/7 support, making sure players are safe, well-rested, properly nourished, and equipped for their activities. The welfare team also ensures that each child is in the right place at the right time, ready to fully enjoy and benefit from their camp experience.

Coaching Team

The flagship coaching program at these camps is delivered by an exceptional team of experienced Liverpool FC coaches. Each coach is UEFA or FA qualified and has been carefully assessed, selected, and accredited by the club. They are chosen for their ability to exemplify the unique values and methods of coaching young players The Liverpool Way. These coaches are highly skilled at motivating and communicating with players of all ages and backgrounds. Many have represented Liverpool FC on a global stage, contributing to a wide range of the club’s programs and initiatives.

Radley College, Oxford

Founded in 1847, Radley College is one of the UK’s leading private schools. Set in over 800 acres of stunning countryside near Oxford, the campus combines traditional architecture with top-tier sports facilities. Its serene environment, combined with immaculate natural grass football pitches, creates the perfect setting for young players to develop their skills while enjoying the beauty of the English countryside.

There is camp welfare support staff on site 24 hours per day.

Repton School left a lasting impression on us with its unique blend of history and modernity. The “old” campus, originally a 12th-century Augustinian Priory, is breathtaking in its romantic, medieval charm. Wandering through this part of the school feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by stunning stonework and a serene, historical atmosphere.

But Repton is much more than its medieval roots. The school spans around 100 buildings across what feels like its own village—complete with school facilities, boarding houses, and even staff accommodations. Among the modern highlights is the Science Building, an architectural masterpiece with sleek, angular glass walls. It’s a place where tradition meets innovation, and that’s what makes it truly special.

Located near the breathtaking Peak District National Park, it is regarded as one of England’s top football schools. With 11 football pitches and a £6 million sports center, the campus provides an unparalleled environment for young players to refine their skills.

Accommodation

• Radley College: Single rooms with shared bathrooms.
• Repton School: Students stay in single, double, or triple rooms equipped with single beds, a desk, and a closet. Bathrooms are shared between 6 students.

Boarding houses are organized by age groups, ensuring players are surrounded by peers of a similar age. For shared rooms, players are allocated with others of a similar age unless a specific room-sharing request is made.

Room-sharing requests are possible but not guaranteed and can only be made if the child wishes to share a room with someone they already know, provided they are the same gender and within two years of age. While every effort is made to accommodate requests for single or shared rooms, specific allocations cannot be guaranteed.

Meals and Nutrition

The camp offers full board, providing three nutritious meals daily. A variety of meal options, including vegetarian dishes, are available. Camp staff ensure that players are eating and staying hydrated, encouraging variety at mealtimes and providing water during all sports sessions with regular water breaks.

In addition to meal monitoring, players receive education on the importance of nutrition and hydration for athletic performance. The camp can cater to specific dietary requirements with at least two weeks’ advance notice.

Programs

The camp combines a fun holiday experience with a taste of what it’s like to train in a professional football environment. While at the camp, all players are part of the Liverpool FC family and are encouraged to follow The Liverpool Way values: ambition, commitment, dignity, and unity. The focus is on learning, working together, and having fun while making great memories and new friends.

Players are grouped by age and ability depending on the size of the camp. Coaches are trained to get the best out of individuals in all training sessions.

Development Football Camps

For Ages 9-12

These camps are designed for younger players, introducing them to the Liverpool FC style of play in an enjoyable and supportive environment. With 6- or 13-night options, the camp focuses on skill development through small-sided games, skills challenges, and a weekly tournament. Each day highlights a specific Liverpool FC player, inspiring participants to learn and emulate their techniques.

Performance Football Camps

For Ages 13-17

Goalkeeper Football Camps

For Ages 12-17 (Available Only at Repton School)

Specialized training for goalkeepers, delivered by Liverpool FC’s expert coaches. The curriculum focuses on key areas such as footwork, handling, positioning, and distribution. Goalkeepers train separately in technical sessions and then join outfield players for game situations.

Program Options

1. Total Football

Includes 24 hours of weekly training, plus 8 hours of workshops on match and player analysis. Players explore the attributes required to excel at different positions and learn about the psychological and social elements that contribute to success on the pitch.

⚠️ The Total Football camp may not be suitable for basic-level English speakers, and we strongly recommend enrolling in the Football + English Program instead.

2. Football + English

In addition to 24 hours of football training and games each week, this program includes 13 hours of English language lessons with professional teachers. The English curriculum is designed based on years of research and expertise in short-course learning, focusing on effective and engaging language development.

Small class sizes allow for personalized attention, with lessons using football as a tool to motivate and inspire students. By incorporating football-related themes, students are encouraged to actively participate, work in groups, and improve their language skills in a fun, dynamic environment. With full immersion in the English language throughout the camp, students’ learning is fast-tracked, boosting their confidence and proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.

At the end of the camp, each student receives a one-on-one session with their teacher, along with a report and certificate to take home, showcasing their progress and achievements.

• Anfield Stadium Tour (for all camps): A behind-the-scenes look at Liverpool FC’s iconic stadium. Experience the thrill of walking out onto the pitch, visiting the dressing rooms, and exploring the club’s storied history in its museum.
• Theme Park Visit (for all 13-night camps): Take a break from football to enjoy rides, attractions, and entertainment at one of the UK’s top amusement parks.
• Liverpool City Tour (all 13-night camps at Repton School): A guided bus and walking tour through Liverpool’s cultural landmarks, including the Beatles’ legacy, Albert Dock, and famous locations tied to the club’s history.
• London City Tour (all 13-night camps at Radley College): A day in London to explore Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and other iconic landmarks, alongside opportunities for shopping and cultural experiences.

Airport Transfers

If your child is arriving at and/or departing from Heathrow Airport on a flight during the times listed below, Sports Camps UK (the camp organizer) can accommodate them on their airport transfer shuttle service at the following cost:

• Return (arrival and departure) transfer: £270
• Return (arrival and departure) transfer with Unaccompanied Minor Service: £330

Arrival Airport Transfer:
For flights landing from 08:00 to 16:00 on Mondays

Departure Airport Transfer:
For flights departing from 11:00 to 18:00 on Sundays

In the unlikely event that flights are unavailable during these hours to/from your destination, please email booking@prodirekt.net. We may be able to arrange with the school a transfer outside of these hours for an additional charge. Unfortunately, Sports Camps UK cannot accommodate transfers that would result in the player arriving at the camp after 23:00 or departing the camp before 07:00.

Filling out the PRODIREKT Application Form and Terms & Conditions does not secure a place on the program, nor does it mean you are under obligation to attend the course you are inquiring about. It is simply the first step in the application process, so that we can give you precise program details and check availability on the desired course. A contract is signed directly with the school, and a place is confirmed after a deposit or the whole course fee is settled.
