In Oxford, Kings Education operates a school with two campuses:

General English
Available in two formats:
- Standard (20 lessons per week): Covers all four language skills, using a communicative teaching method.
- Intensive (28 lessons per week): Includes 20 lessons of General English plus 8 lessons in one of six elective modules: Business English, Fluency and Discussion, Postgraduate Study Skills, Pronunciation, Oxford and British Life, or English Through Art. Some General English classes take place at the St. Michael’s Campus.
IELTS Exam Preparation
If your English level is at least Intermediate (B1), you can join this specialized course. Kings Oxford is an official IELTS testing center and is considered one of the best schools for IELTS and TOEFL preparation.
- Standard IELTS Preparation: Starts every Monday and lasts a minimum of two weeks.
- Super-Intensive IELTS Preparation: A three-week course (32 lessons per week), designed for rapid exam readiness. The Super Intensive IELTS three-week program starts on 22 June and 13 July. The IELTS test is booked separately (it is not included in the course fee) and the test fee for 2026 is £240.
English Plus Art & Design
Ideal for students interested in combining language learning with creativity. This program consists of 20 General English lessons plus 8 specialized art classes, including painting, drawing, and modeling, taught in a dedicated art studio at St. Joseph’s Campus.
Activities
The school organizes a variety of activities free of charge for all students, offering a chance to explore Oxford and beyond. Additionally, some activities and excursions are available for purchase on-site at discounted prices, significantly lower than what you’d find elsewhere in the city.
The activities are crafted to make your time in Oxford both memorable and enriching. Beyond the classroom, you’ll explore the city’s historic streets, visit world-famous landmarks like the University of Oxford, the Bodleian Library, and the Ashmolean Museum, and discover the local culture. There will be the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing day at the university’s botanic gardens, and experience punting along the River Cherwell.
You will practice your English, make new friends, and truly immerse yourself in the essence of Oxford.
Accommodation
When studying at Kings Education, choosing the right accommodation is an important part of the experience. Kings offers a range of comfortable and convenient options to suit different preferences and budgets.
Homestay
Stay in a carefully selected host family with a single room and half-board meal plan (breakfast and dinner). This is a great way to experience English culture and practice your speaking skills daily.
Student Apartment
A more independent option for students aged 18+. You’ll share an apartment with 5–6 students from the college, with single rooms on a self-catering basis.
Apartments are usually a 15- to 20-minute walk from the school.
Wavy Gate Premium Residence
A modern, well-equipped student residence located 15 minutes from both the school and the city center. This residence is in a lively student neighborhood, surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and supermarkets.
