What is a typical day like at the AC Milan Academy Elite Camp? ❤️🖤⚽ Verbalists team member Simeon, who was also a house parent during the program, followed two of our students from Brazil — Rafael (Rafa) Legori and Joao Oro — through their day to show just that.
The video begins at 7:30 AM, with Simeon knocking on the boys’ door to get them up and ready. By 8:00 AM, the group is having breakfast — a quiet but important part of the day as everyone gears up for training.
At 9:00 AM, players head to Vismara, AC Milan’s youth training ground. The first session begins at 9:30 AM and includes shooting drills and game-focused exercises led by experienced coaches. The atmosphere is serious but supportive — every player is there to work hard and improve.
By 14:00, it is time for lunch, followed by a video session at 14:30 in the theater, where the players watch football clips and reflect on tactics and team play. These sessions are part of helping players think more about the game, not just play it.
The second training session starts at 16:00 and focuses on technical details and small-sided games, including a 9 vs 9 match. You can feel the focus on teamwork and communication, especially as the players start to connect more as a group.
At 18:15, the team returns to the hotel. There is some free time, and many choose to relax by the pool. Dinner is served at 19:30, followed by time in their rooms.
Rafa and Joao finish their day at 21:30, sometimes going over game footage or just unwinding.
It is clear from the video that the experience is about more than just football — it is about growing as a player and as a person. This year’s camp wrapped up smoothly, with players leaving with new skills, friends, and memories.
