Our London Summer School is not just about visiting famous places. It is about the people you share it with, the small moments in between, and the way it all comes together to create something special. 🤩

27-JUL-2025 | This summer, our London Summer School students at St. Mary’s University had many memorable days — thanks to our group leader Radmila Stojsin and the support of Aisan Sadeghipour, an activity leader from St Andrew’s College Language Schools.

We thought it would be helpful for future students and their families to get a feel for what one of our excursion days looks like. So, with Aisan’s help, a short video was made — a glimpse into a day in our summer school life. It shows the fun, the friendship, and all those little moments that made the day so special. Big City Day Out 📸 Captured by Aisan and Verbalists 🧡

The day kicked off at our base, St Mary’s University campus. From there, the group took a short train ride to Waterloo Station — the perfect starting point for our city adventure.

First stop: Madame Tussauds.
Excitement kicked in early. From striking a pose next to Marvel heroes to snapping selfies with music legends and the Royal Family, our students loved the mix of pop culture and lifelike detail. It was both fun and a little surreal.

Dinner at Hard Rock Café – food, music, and a break

Next up: Paddington Bear.
We could not pass Paddington without stopping for a quick hello and a few photos. There is something timeless about that little bear that brings out smiles in everyone — young or old.

Then came Oxford Street.
Yes, the shopping highlight. Everyone split into groups, looking for that perfect souvenir or fashion find. Some went for UK brands, others went straight to sports stores, and a few just took it all in, wandering through the crowds and energy of central London.

Dinner time: Hard Rock Café.
After a full afternoon of walking, the group sat down to unwind and eat. The vibe, music, and food hit just right. Our students loved seeing rock memorabilia while swapping stories about their favorite parts of the day.

Back to campus.
Tired but happy, we returned to St Mary’s with more memories, more photos, and plenty to talk about.

💥 And then, there is Aisan. 👏 Friendly, reliable, and always ready to help — she was a steady presence throughout the day. Whether it was checking in with students or guiding the group through the city, she made sure everything ran smoothly. That is the kind of support that makes a real difference, especially when exploring a big city like London.

It is days like this that make the Verbalists London experience more than just a trip. They make it a memory — something students carry home with them, not only in photos, but in their hearts.
