15-AUG-2025 | When 14-year-old Jovana from Podgorica, Montenegro, joined us this summer in London, we were not just welcoming a new student – we were continuing a family story that started years ago. Before her, her older sister Bojana and brother Matija attended our summer schools in Malta and London. This year, Jovana and her older brother Vladan became part of our London group, and we were especially happy to support their academic growth and personal development, just as we did for their siblings in the past.

Here is how Jovana described her experience:

“Attending the summer school organized by Verbalists was an incredibly valuable experience for me, both academically and personally. I would especially like to mention my favorite teacher, Mike, whose teaching style and clarity made every lesson interesting and easy to follow. The school program was carefully designed, and the excursions and sightseeing went exactly as planned, giving us the opportunity to discover new places, cultures, and customs. During my stay, I made friends from Turkey, Italy, and other countries. I also have to mention our outstanding group leader, Rada, who, with her experience, warmth, and endless energy, made sure that each of us felt safe and motivated. This was an unforgettable experience that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their language skills, broaden their horizons, and make new friends.”

This year, our long-time Programs Manager, Rada, looked after our group, creating an environment where students felt safe, supported, and free to learn and explore.

Our London Summer Camp with a group leader has been running for 16 consecutive years, while Verbalists Education & Language Network has been connecting young people from all over the world with top schools and unforgettable learning experiences for more than 25 years.
