19-SEP-2022 | Asaad Al-Oufi, a 19-year old Verbalists Language Network’s student from Oman, improved his English in Cambridge. He took his classes at one of the best British schools – Kaplan International Languages.

Many students come to Kaplan hoping to make themselves more attractive candidates for future jobs. So did Asaad. This young man was also fortunate that his employer saw English skills as important for the post he just assumed at that company, so they financed his language studies at Kaplan.

We helped Asaad enroll in a 12-week semi-intensive English course at Kaplan’s school in Cambridge that boasts a brand new study center. Students here can take full advantage of many extra opportunities to improve their language skills, such as Learning Clubs.

During his time in Cambridge, Asaad stayed in a homestay, which not only gave him a unique insight into daily British life, but also provided easy access to the school.

While studying English in Cambridge, Asaad was also able to get to know that historic city, home to one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the world. He particularly enjoyed looking over the beautiful River Cam and visiting one of the many museums and restaurants.

Kaplan students studying more than 4 weeks can borrow bikes for free to travel around Cambridge, which is also known as the “city of cycling.” This way our students are able to fully immerse themselves in the culture of Cambridge.
