Surfboards, sea spray, and Spanish — that is what our Verbalists students experienced yesterday. One of the most talked-about activities at the Valencia Summer School is the surf class on the city’s beautiful beaches… so let us take you there. 🙂
03-AUG-2025 | Our partner school, Españolé, organized these fun and safe sessions, with professional coaches leading the way. The lessons were part of a bigger experience — where learning Spanish blended naturally with living the language. Whether it was a first time on a board or not, the day offered equal parts challenge and fun.
Some students managed to stay upright. Others… not quite. But every fall brought a splash of laughter — and that was all part of the ride. 🏄♂️
The focus was not just on technique. It was about sharing the moment with new friends, stepping out of comfort zones, and discovering what you can do when you give it a try. The sea might be unpredictable, but the joy of learning something new together was a sure thing.
This was just one of many moments that made active VALENCIA more than a summer course last week. It was a chance to connect, explore, and learn — on the beach, in the classroom, and everywhere in between.
