Preparation Courses
DELE stands for Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera, or “Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma”. It is the only certificate for non-native Spanish speakers that is officially recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education. This diploma is of great international value for those who are going to study at a Spanish University and who want to work, or are going to work in a Spanish-speaking environment.
There are DELE Preparation courses for each exam, according to the level of qualification (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2), that can be obtained at all the don Quijote Spanish schools in Spain and Latin America. Until now, a very high percentage of our students have successfully passed the exam. This does not guarantee that you will pass the official DELE exam, as this depends on many circumstances. However, we do guarantee that you get a high quality DELE Preparation Course.
Please note that the preparation course is not intended to help you achieve a higher Spanish level, but to prepare you for the exam of your current level.
Preparation Course 20
The program consists of 20 classes per week from Monday to Friday and can be enhanced with extra classes such as conversation classes and private or semi-private classes so you’ll be able to work on the areas you want to improve most.

Preparation Course 30
This course is for students who are interested in getting an internationally recognized Spanish qualification to access new academic and professional opportunities. They want to practice the test in an intensive and personalized way, especially focusing on the specific contents and exercises included in the DELE exam.
This intensive preparation course consists of 20 weekly group classes and 10 private classes. Hence, it will be possible for you to reinforce your knowledge and build on your skills in an individualized way.

The place and time of the DELE courses are based on the examination dates established by the Spanish Ministry of Education each year.
DELE Exam – Spanish Proficiency Test
Due to practical advantages, most students decide to take the DELE exam in Spain. However, the test can also be taken outside of Spain. The examination fees are set each year by the Spanish Ministry of Education, the Cervantes Institute and each individual examination center.
DELE exam dates for 2023
DELE exams are offered on several dates throughout the year. These dates are common across all DELE examination centers around the world. Please note that each exam date does not necessarily include all exam levels. Pay special attention to the registration deadlines and make sure to register in advance.
February 17 for level A2
April 14 for levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1
May 13 for all levels (A1 to C2)
July 7 for levels A2, B1, B2, C1
September 8 for level A2
October 13 for levels A2, B1, B2
November 18 for all levels (A1 to C2)
