Forget paracetamol and don’t even think about calling the doctor: listening to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, it seems, is the quick route to feeling better when you are unwell.
In a poll of 1,000 people, nearly 90% of respondents agreed that listening to music can make people feel perkier when they are sick or faced with hard times. The top choice among women, however, was Dancing Queen by Abba, the ComRes survey for BBC local radio found.
From a list of 10 songs suggested, almost a third of men chose the Queen song, and almost a quarter of women.
