London Summer School Konstantin’s Graduation Day Moment at St Mary’s Uni

London Summer School at St Mary’s University gave 14-year-old Konstantin and his Verbalists friends an unexpected opportunity to witness a real university graduation ceremony.

19-JUL-2026 | While attending the St Mary’s University summer camp as part of the Verbalists group, 14-year-old Konstantin Petrovic from Belgrade and his friends found themselves watching something they had not expected to see: a real university graduation ceremony.

At first, Konstantin was a little shy when we asked him to step in front of the camera and tell us about it. A few seconds later, he relaxed, smiled and gave us his own cheerful account of what was happening around him.

For a young student, seeing the graduates in their gowns, surrounded by proud families and friends, makes university feel more real. It is no longer only something that belongs to the distant future. It is happening right there, on the same campus where he is spending his summer, learning English, making friends and discovering a new environment.

For us at PRODIREKT and Verbalists Education, it is a real privilege to bring young learners to a place like St Mary’s, where they can experience one of London’s most beautiful campuses and get an early feel for life at a leading UK university.

This is also one of the most rewarding parts of our work. Many young people first join us for a summer school, then return for other programs as they grow. Years later, they often come back to us again, this time for help choosing and enrolling at university. We do not simply see them through one summer. We have the privilege of being part of a much longer educational journey.

Konstantin joined the London Summer School at St Mary’s University, a two-week English language program for young learners that combines lessons, university campus life, activities, London sightseeing and excursions, with the support of a Verbalists group leader.
