Manchester City vs Manchester United – A day to remember! These kinds of exciting and unique after-class activities are exactly what the best summer schools should offer – and what the Verbalists Language Network is known for.
Our students recently had an amazing day at Wembley Stadium, cheering on Manchester City as they took on Manchester United in the Football Association Community Shield. This was more than a clash between two of the fiercest rivals in football – it was an experience our students will cherish forever.
We were all rooting for City, especially since Verbalists have a special connection with the club through our partnership with the Manchester City Summer Academy. Seeing our favorite team lift the shield made the day even more memorable.

We always strive to offer experiences that go beyond the classroom, and the summer school at King’s College, which included this match, is a perfect example. From the roar of the crowd to the nail-biting penalty shootout that saw Manchester City win 7-6 after a 1-1 draw, our students soaked in every moment.
